According to Vedic Astrology, there are various Mahadasha eras that have both positive and negative influences on a native’s life. This is determined by the dasha or antardasha of each given planet (benefic or malefic). It is important to have the birth chart reviewed by an experienced astrologer in order to determine the suitable condition. As a result, an experienced, authentic, and certified Astrologer in South Delhi and a specialist with an in-depth understanding of astrology can accurately predict dashas.
What is Dasha?
Dashas are planetary phases in Vedic astrology. These periods define the precise moment when an individual will be affected (either positively or negatively) by them in a given moon sign. These planetary periods are established by the placement of the planet by sign, house, Yogas, or aspects. The nine planets govern each Dasha, and the quality of each time is validated by the location and situation or state of the mentioned planet in a native’s birth chart. Dasha is also known as a system that is designed to examine how the many planets and their positions affect the day-to-day lives of a specific person.
Types of Dashasin Astrology
Some of the best Astrologers in South Delhi suggest that there are several types of Dashas that have been mentioned. The most prominent and well-known of which is Vimshottari Dasha. Aside from this, there are other Dashas such as Ashtotri dasha, Yogini dasha, Jaimini dasha, Kalachakra dasha, and so on.
When the Dashas are computed in the present time, more and more importance is given to the Dasha systems based on the Nakshatras, which is why they are gaining popularity. The Ashtotri dasha is 108 years long, while the Vimshottari dasha is 120 years long. Yogini Dasha, by contrast, is 36 years old. The Vimshottari dasha is currently regarded as the most effective and acceptable of these Dashas.
Vimshottari Dasha
As previously stated, the Vimshottari Dasha is believed to be the first and most accurate in Vedic astrology. It lasts 120 years and each of the nine planets has its own Dasha period. This is a Nakshatra-based dasha, which means that the Nakshatra in which the Moon is at the time of birth receives the birth Mahadasha of the Nakshatra’s lord planet at the time of birth, and the Dasha sequence continues in the same way. If a person is born in the Poorvadasha, Nakshatras of Kritika, Poorva Phalguni, and the Sun/Surya Dev is the lord of all three, that person will be born during the Sun’s Mahadasha. The Asha period of each planet is listed below, and it is as follows:
Mahadasha of Sun – 6 years
Mahadasha of Moon – 10 years
Mahadasha of Mars – 7 years
Mahadasha of Rahu – 18 years
Mahadasha of Jupiter – 16 years
Mahadasha of Saturn – 19 years
Mahadasha of Mercury – 17 years
Mahadasha of Ketu – 7 years
Mahadasha of Venus – 20 years
The order of Mahadashas is as described above, i.e. if a person is born in Punarvasu Nakshatra, which is the Nakshatra of Jupiter, that person will have Mahadasha of Jupiter at the time of birth, followed by Mahadasha of Saturn. According to Vedic Astrologer in Delhi the Mahadasha predicts that the Mahadasha of Rahu will be the final dasha, with its period increasing by 120 years in this sequence.
When we move further in the Vimshottari Mahadasha system, Antardasha appears, followed by Pratyantar Dasha, Suksham Dasha, and Prana Dasha. The first Antardasha in each planet’s Mahadasha is unique to that planet, as is the first Pratyantar Dasha in every planet’s Antardasha. Similarly, all of the other planets’ Antar dashas manifest their effects in the Mahadasha of one planet.
As previously said, the Mahadasha is received by the Lord of the Nakshatra in which the Moon is located; however, if the Mahadasha of the Sun is 6 years, then everyone will go through the Mahadasha of the Sun not only for 6 years but also for the Moon. The Dasha period is defined by the Nakshatra’s Bhogansh (time period).
Yogini Dasha
Yogini Dasha is very important after Vimshottari Dasha. This is largely a Nakshatra-based Dasha that lasts 36 years before repeating the same Dasha Karma. Another name for it is Ashta Yogini Dasha. The planetary Dasha for this Dasha has also been named based on the influence of various planets. This Dasha is calculated utilizing all 27 constellations/Nakshatras, and a certain planet in its time gives the person with favorable or unfavorable outcomes. Yogini Dasha’s names are Mangala, Pingala, Dhanya, Bhramari, Bhadrika, Ulka, Siddha, and Sankata, and their Dasha sequences are also in increasing order from each other. The following Dashas have the following effect periods:
Mangala – 1 year
Pingla – 2 years
Dhanya – 3 years
Bhramari – 4 years
Bhadrika – 5 years
Ulka – 6 years
Siddha – 7 years
Sankata – 8 years
Any Bhogya era of the above dashas lasts 36 years, and then the sequence is repeated, i.e. after 8 years of struggle, Mangala Dasha begins again, and the same process repeats.
