Understanding of Sade-Sati
Sade-Sati is basically a period of 7 and half years in which Shani or Saturn transits the twelfth, first, and second houses from the Moon sign. All of us go through this phase. Usually, it occurs thrice in an average human’s
life span, once during childhood or teenage, second during your middle age, and finally during old age.
Saturn is known as the planet of justice. It gives you the results of your own efforts and karma. There may be some testing times. Those who stay strong during adversities also receive the benefits later. Sade-Sati is not always bad.
Because it is Kalyug and we have moved away from idealistic society and moved towards a materialistic world, 70-80% of people find this phase to be negative.
There are certain astrological combinations that lead to positive results and benefits during sade-Sati. It can be determined through the detailed study of the horoscope.
The Negative Impact of Sade-Sati can be Reduced. There are Various Ways to Do it.
1. Reciting Maha Mrityunjay Mantra is very beneficial.
2. Offering food to physically challenged and poor people leads to the blessings of Lord Shani.
3. Wearing a Shani Rudraksha can be especially beneficial.
4. Visiting the Shani temple on Saturdays and offering mustard oil and black sesame seeds are really good. However, never buy oil and the sesame seeds on Saturday. In fact, never buy things related to Lord Shani on
Saturdays and Tuesdays.
5. One can donate a black umbrella or black shoes to a cobbler or sweeper on Diwali or Shani Amavasya. Again, don’t buy them on Saturday or Tuesday.
It is not that nothing good happens during this time. This phase is like a college degree. You may not get the point right now but towards the end and in life, you do end up using the lessons you learned during it. Failure can be a great teacher. Difficult times end up teaching you the most important life lessons. We should be informed and not be afraid of Saturn and astrology in general. Hopefully, we can keep clearing these misconceptions and further our understanding of astrology.
